The 2002 Ludi adds some Cabernet and Merlot to the Montepulciano and is a success for this vintage, well endowed with plum and cassis fruit, minerals, and coconut, solid and well structured even if the tannins are drier than the excellent 2001 version of the wine. Drink: 2006-2015.
